Proof of delivery (POD) is a method to establish the fact that the recipient received the contents sent by the sender. Legal complications may arise if recipient company refutes receiving a corrected product specification. Both companies could be at loggerheads, each proving/not proving the existence of proof that shipment is received or delivered.
We understand how important it is for the client and keeping this in mind, we have designed a handy web application, POD Signature, which allows to take signature on a touch screen device, storing it in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and printing on shipment details to give recipient proof of delivery for purchased products.
- POD Signature uses web interface, and requires to publish on client’s IIS Server.
Any touchscreen device which uses internet, can be used to connect the application for taking signature either inside or outside the premise.

To access this web application, you need to open a web link on browser, which will then ask for the credentials. We have used NTLM Authentication method to secure the application. Hence only with windows username and password, can able to log in in the application.
